Just wondering what the current policy on carry on baggage is on aircraft.  Is it still limited to your passport in a clear plastic bag and little else or can I bring my camera as well and remove and potential temptation for a baggage handler five finger discount?

Your camera and all electronics are grand. It's only liquids that they're at now. I flew to Leeds last weekend, and wasn't even asked for ID coming in.

The only issue I've had with a camera was with my videocamera and pelicase. Yer wan on the x ray machine asked me to open it, she said the machine wasn't able to see through the peli case as it was too dense.
