Confirmed Format for Clifden event will be as follows:
Heats wiil be 2 runs each wit the scores added together.
From preliminaries we are going straight to finals
Five competitors will qualify for the finals.
Each finalist gets two runs and their best run will count.
The finals will NOT be super finals format as held at sluice.
Confirmed Format for Curragower event will be as follows:
Firstly as we are taking gower as unobtainable competitors are not allowed to re enter feature from eddy if they wash off the wave during their run.
Heats will be 4 runs each with the best 2 runs added together.
From preliminaries we are going straight to finals
Five competitors will qualify for the finals.
Each finalist gets two runs and their best run will count.
The finals will NOT be super finals format as held at sluice.

Hey Super Moose,
The Committee are confident that the event will be run in 1 day.
Having said that, there are many variables that can effect the tides (Wind, air pressure etc) and therefor the length of time the hole will be working for.
So there still is a chance that the event will have to be finished on the Sunday.
