3rd was a tie, between UL and MUCK,
MUCK won Polo
DCU won Whitewater
ITB won freestyle.
Moe 1st, Shane F 2nd and Mark Leonard 3rd.
Ladies was Kim 1st, and Sinead O'D and someone else (I'm sorry I don't remember who!) tied for 2nd.
I'd just to add my congragulations to UL for putting on an incredible show. This must have been one of the biggest freestyle events in years. The organisation and atmosphere was top notch.

To those that weren't there, I.T.Blanchardstown beat NUIG in the polo 
...& it was 4 against 5...lol... But due to the fact we didn't have a girl on our team we got DQ'd. You lads were lucky we didn't have a girl on our team...but we clearly weren't

im sure im not the first to notice but the results are listed 1st, 2nd, 3rd and then 5th? what happened 4th place? i emailed the lads already im sure the situation will be clarified shortly.

UL and MUCK came joint 3rd. Hence DCU are 5th.

Just a note not to congratulate NUIG too much!!
As they received walk-over points from ITB in the polo, who were only playing with four players & still won but then got disqualified because they had no female players.
It's funny because with the overall competition ending up so close (1 point between teams),There was a vote to allow ITB to continue! but even having the majority of the votes from captains who showed up, 4 disagreed which was enough to get ITB kicked out. i reakon the QUB captain is really kicking herself for the decesion she made to disqualify ITB.
Thanks to all competitors, organizers & all who just came along for the craic, great weekend, cant wait for next year!

would like to say fair play to the lads who organised it, it was the best varsities i've been to in my time, and all their hard work deffo paid off... well done lads...
also what was the title of the DVD on sat night, i wanna get me a copy!
