Advice and Dagger Mamba Wanted
Hi
I am looking for a dagger Mamba in good condition with good outfitting (as cheap as possible too). I have tried the 7.5 and felt really comfortable in it - however i am at the upper end of the weight range (the lower end of the Memba 8). I am not a bril paddler but i am a passionate one
. I dont understand what difference being at the upper weight range would mean, putting it bluntly - the 7.5 does not sink when I'm in it!!! Maybe someone here could advise me. I am only short at 5'4" but I am about 77 kgs.
And secondly, if you have a good condition mamba for sale please contact me by text on 0861739974.
If it is orange better stil - it would match my drysuit - a very very important factor of course !!! (but not esential
)
Thanks Cat,
that is really helpful and good advise. They seem to be in short suppy too, it seems whoever has one - wants to keep it
like yourself they all seem to be having fun
here's hoping i get to try a few soonHi all, thanks for comments.
The person called Rob who phoned me, can you contact again PLEASE. Unfortunately I did not save your number and been trying to get in touch with you since. I still need convincing between the small and medium, but I am vering towards the small as I dont think Ill ever be in really big volumn water.
Waiting to hear from you
It was probably Rob Coffey.
Try this link (sorry, don't know why it won't post nicely for me).

hey there,
it would sound like you are happy out in the small Mamba. I paddle the small one and am about 70kgs. Not much in the difference there. Paddling the larger one may leave you feeling swamped. However, the best thing may be to try out the two. Also, as a word of caution - i am not sure how much you have tried out either - but a boat can seem grand paddling about on the flat or on shallow weirs etc. but the real test is to see which one makes eddies best for you, or which resurfaces best after a drop etc. Sometimes you can be surprised when you really put the boat to test. Not the right time of year for river running i know - but it's something to keep in mind.
hope you find a boat at a good price anyway. (sorry, not selling mine - having too much fun in it)
