Hi Ted i would recommend a dagger gt they are a great alrounder and a good outfitting!(depending on which spec you go for). http://www.irishfreestyle.com/node/2926 theres one for sale although it would depend on your size and weight what size you would need!

 hay there

if your buying your first boat your realy goin to have to sit down and think about what you want out of it.  The nomad is a good boat but not for your first one.  When you start kayaking you need an all rounder to discover what tyoe of kayaking you like, i would recomend a gt from dagger or a inazone (first or second series, dont buy a inazone 3,i3, because they are crap begginer boats).  these types of boats are brilliant for begginers, they are short enough to make turning easy but big enough to be safer than a playboat.  they can also be used and have fun in rivers, surf, playing in holes or waves, and any other abuse you can give them.

Good luck with the boat hunt.....i hope you get huckd

Its not a water sport unless u get wet
