Got a Jackson Hero this summer as a replacement for a Jk Rocker which split. Paddled it in France for a week and got a few runs on the Dargle during the recent heavy rains.
Found it to be stable and forgiving, tracks & responds well, easy to roll and boof, the plaining hull will allow some play. Comfortable boat with plenty of room for gear. I think it will be a good boat for Irish river paddling. Only issue i would have is the plastic! if it splits it can`t be welded.
