A HUGE THANKS and FAIR PLAY to Adrian Durant who organised a rodeo, old school competition, boater cross which all ran to plan. Also organised the get together afterwards, sorted all the prizes etc.
Not only this but organised another event today for poeple to try out squirt boating and a release for the freestylers to get stuck in at sluice again today.
Also thanks to the people who were running back and forth from competing and judging which are vital for a fair competition. Jenny for the use of her shop, all the shops/people who sponsored another event, Niamh for the video and Bowsie for his presentation on the worlds. oh and the DJ.. not the same without music.
There was few others in there too who were helping out so cheers guys and obviously the ESB which really came threw for us yesterday.+Eoin O R for stalling it along to some great shots..he has them on his facebook maybe we could get a link up for them.
+ Everyone who turned up, competed, stuck around for the entire day with wet heads and let things run smothly....
Super day.
Fran
Thanks everyone was a great event, the party in the field was great craic thanks to Brian for letting us stay.
Myself and Tony found a shorty wetsuit hanging on the wooden fence by the side of the Chinese restaurant across the road, it was there when we got there Saturday morning and still there when we were leaving so we took it away with us. If anybody know who owns it give us a shout on 0879158466

Just to echo the thankses so far, to everyone who organised, competed, donated prizes etc.
Most especially thanks to Adrian for running the whole show, but mostly for getting trapped walking down the road in the middle of a rally, and then falling in the lake trying to escape. I'm still laughing! :)
Big thanks to Adrian for organising this. It was a really great event!!
The Funky Freestyle Rodeo, presentation and raffle in Outdoor Evolution and the
i-canoe video night (last July)
ware held in order to raise money for getting the Freestyle team and their kit to the worlds.
So a big thanks to everyone who supported both events and to Colm and Jenny for hoasting these events.
