ICU
Irish Canoe Union (ICU) is the governing body for kayaking in Ireland. Any information on clubs, other disciplines, or the governance of sport can be either found on the site or by contacting them by phone or email. The ICU also product a monthly magazine which can be download from the media section of the site.

Another important section of the ICU is the The Training & Development Unit which administers the training, coaching an accreditation scheme for the ICU. As part the units job it also promotes training within the sport.
Another group is the The Irish Sea Kayaking Association. The association is a voluntary group with the aim of developing and promoting the sport of sea kayaking in Irish waters, in harmony with the environment, the local people and landowners.
icu training center - getting there by public transport?
hiya,
myself and my wife are considering doing the icu evening beginners training course starting this or next week.
my wife would be geting there from town after work ... so, is it possible to get to the icu training center by public transport or would a taxi be required? if so, would we have to order a taxi for collection afterwards?
